Emma has joined North Yorkshire’s Every Child a Talker (ECAT) project, this is a year long project aimed at improving outcomes for children by supporting their communication, language and literacy.Over the coming year Emma will be attending a variety of training sessions providing her with the knowledge to support children’s language development across the nursery. We are keen to share ideas and knowledge with parents so an information evening for families is being arranged soon. In the meantime Emma has a rather cryptic request - if you have any child sized, odd socks lurking in the laundry basket without hope of finding a match please could you bring these along to nursery.Emma assures us she has a plan!
