Systems for sharing

Earlier this month saw us adopt a new system to create and develop individual learning journals for each of the children at Incy Wincy's.  The move was made as we realised that our old system had some limitations.  This was reinforced when we listened to the members of our Parent Forum who told us of their confusion about where the postcards from home went and how they were used.  One  of the strengths of Tapestry is the way we can work with parents to follow children's interests and document individual learning stories.

It is also really important that we can demonstrate that all the children in our care are making progress, the system will let us look at this in a variety of ways so that we can make sure we are supporting each child appropriately.
