The Book Borrowers

There was a lot of excitement in the Dragonfly Room on Friday as we began to add some new books to the Book Borrowers Baskets.  It is lovely to see so many children eager to borrow a book to share with their mummy or daddy.  The baskets are available in each room and we will continue to add to these regularly, though we notice that the children often choose to borrow the same book again and again.  

Leanne has noticed that many of the Ladybird children have a real love of books, often find a space of their own where they can quietly look at a book or two.  For our younger members in the Bumble Bees we have story bags too, each has a book which is supported with a puppet or a prop adding to the fun.

If you have not yet joined the Book Borrowers please ask your child's key person for a card, they can also let you know if your child has any favourite story books at nursery to get you started.
