The Joker

Many families will remember that we use to have a couple of jokes on our newsletters but it seems that this came to a sudden end last autumn, well the jokes are returning as it appears that Steve is not only cooking yummy food but is a bit of a comedian too.  It began with a joke that many were already familiar with:

"Why did 6 hate 7?... because 7, 8, 9" - some muted laughter and a few groans of 'we've heard it'.  

During Wimbledon fortnight we progressed to Joke 2;

"I wondered why the tennis ball was getting bigger... and then it hit me!" - genuine laughter and some appreciation from the staff team.

This week it was funny Friday as Steve stepped it up, creating his own Incy Wincy's joke;

"What did Victor [Incy WIncy's tortoise] say to the Dragonfly children?... Where's Michelle" 

Lots of laughter, though if we're honest we think the children laughed just because the staff did!
