Looking with the Ladybirds

Our Ladybirds have followed the lead of the older Dragonfly children, visiting the park each day they have compiled a long list of bugs that they discovered.  Unsure where to look at first one of the Ladybirds told the group "live in bushes" and soon they were busy exploring.  It was lovely to hear them making sounds they associated with the bugs, naming others and introducing number language as they marked the bugs on their list.  Our mini explorers have been eager to get out and about everyday, National insect week comes to an end this weekend but we are sure the children's fascination will continue for much longer.
