Minibus to Manchester

The minibus was on the road again on Saturday, this time members of team Incy Wincy's were heading over the Pennines to the Childcare Expo in Manchester.  The event offered us the opportunity to find out what is new in the world of early years; to talk to trainers, suppliers and organisations.  It was an interesting (and tiring) day, members of the team attended seminars and workshops on topics such as Makaton, Risk Taking and Science.  It was interesting to see some new innovative products many of them linking technology with children's natural interests.  We are eagerly awaiting delivery of some of these and are sure the children will benefit greatly from them - in fact we are sure the children will learn how to use them quicker than we will!
