Meeting Marshall

Last week the Ladybird children welcomed a new furry friend to their room, a bear with no name.  The children suggested names before agreeing on Marshall - we suspect this may have a link to a popular children's television character!

Marshall is our take home bear, he is being introduced to support the children's Language & Communication offering a link between home and nursery.  Tucked up in his little red spotty backpack Marshall hopes to go to stay at each child's house to share in their family life and adventures.  A little diary is provided and we hope parents will jot some memories in this for children to talk to their friends about when Marshall returns to nursery.  Marshall was enjoying the summer sunshine in our garden yesterday but looking ahead he would welcome items for his autumn/winter wardrobe, if any parents or family friends are happy to knit or sew a little something he (and we) would be delighted.
