Mud Masterclass
Posted on May 28, 2016
Many of you may already recognise that we have a number of very enthusiastic outdoor educators, many of them are naturally becoming Mud Masterchef and they are now on the look out for a few extra bits & bobs for the Mud Kitchen. These do not have to be pristine (afterall they are going to get muddy), in fact we are purposely trying to avoid the catalogue collections and are looking for items of varying styles and ages. We would be grateful if parents could rummage around in the back of their cupboards, and perhaps ask family members to do the same for any of the following that are not used anymore:
- jelly moulds
- whisks
- metal jugs
- cooling racks
- potato masher, fish slices etc
- pestle and mortor
- egg cups
- colanders - varying shapes and sizes
- cake tins
.... you may have something else that you feel would be great in this area, if so please share your ideas with us. We will be inviting nursery families to come along and join in some muddy fun in our Mud Kitchen on International Mud Day, Wednesday 29th June.
