Toddling & Waddling in the Rain

The 'Quacking' continued today as children and staff from Incy Wincy's joined other nursery aged boys and girls for the Toddle, Waddle at Asygarth School this morning in aid of the Menigitis Now.  Despite the damp weather, the children dressed in custom made head-wear thoroughly enjoyed romping around the grounds discovering the many yellow ducks along the way before gathering for a drink, a snack and a play.  A big thank to Karen, our nominated minibus driver for the day and to our friends at Asygarth Pre-Prep School, particularly Gay Forth and Susie Pattison for their hospitality.  Incy Wincy's has adopted a number of lovely yellow ducks from the event which I have already heard are being used by both the Ladybirds and Dragonflies team to support yet more Mad about Maths activities.

This was one of many outings planned to bring together our older Ladybirds and younger Dragonflies in preparation for the autumn when we will have waved their older Dragonfly friends off to school.
