Systems Check

Our fire alarm rang out early this morning as the nursery day was just beginning.  It was a test of our systems as the youngest members of the nursery were swiftly carried out, while other children calmly made their way out closely watched by our staff team - and one or two parents who were dropping off at the time.  While we waited for the all clear staff and children carried on their day in our Grasshopper Pre-School, our childcare student (on placement with us until Christmas) was even able to explain to her visiting tutor our procedures literally as they happened!  A big thank you to the families for supporting us this morning as we completed the steps needed to ensure the nursery was safe for everyone to return to, when all was said and done it was discovered to be a fault in one of our call points.
