Brilliantly Busy

It has been an action packed weekend for Incy Wincy's, the team came together yesterday for a full day's training focused on how we as a nursery Promote Positive Behaviour.  Katharine Finkill was invited in to lead the day; an early years trainer & consultant Katherine has also been a friend for many years and is as passionate about the importance of children's early years as I am.  The day offered us the opportunity to revisit the reasons children may behave as they do, our professional role in this and how we can work with families.  The sign of a great training day for me is plenty of discussion, questions and a little laughter - I am pleased to say that we had it all!  

There was more fun today as we opened the Incy Wincy's Brunch Bar for this years Pancake Party.  As well as eating their way through a stack of pancakes the children busied themselves creating chefs hats and recipes before the eagerly anticipated races began.  A big thank you to our Parent Forum members for their help today and the staff who gave up a little bit more of their weekend too. I look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow, including our Grasshoppers & Rangers who return after their half term break just as we begin our Month of Stories.
