A Step Ahead
Posted on November 10, 2018
Ahead of World Science Day staff and children popped on their lab coats for the first in a series of science workshops planned for this half term with Love Science. Experimenting with light & colour the children were quick to pick up the new science vocabulary for the week; 'pipette' & 'test tube'.
The theme for the 2018 awareness day is 'Science a Human Right', people are invited to consider the links between science, our fragile planet and sustainability which may leave many questioning where do you start? That bit is easy for team Incy Wincy's, you start in the early years with the next generation of naturally curious and creative thinkers. UNESCO states that everyone has a right to participate in and benefit from science; inviting schools and other organisations to get involved today, luckily we're one step ahead and looking forward to more experimenting in next weeks workshop.
