Baby Talk

It can be easy to forget how much babies learn in the first few months, this morning we met a baby who despite being just a few months old has already learnt the art of conversation.  It is amazing to see a baby take turns to speak, experiment with different sounds and using eye contact to express meaning.  It came just after we had booked Emily onto the Talk to you Baby conference.  The conference in Manchester next week is organised by the National Literacy Trust who provide lots of information for parents https://literacytrust.org.uk/parents-and-families/ Emily will listen to the most upto thinking, research and projects around early communication & language development before sharing this at our next team meeting in a couple of weeks.  From there it is all about us developing our practice further to ensure the children at Incy Wincy's have the best possible start to nursery life.
