Supporting Internet Safety
Posted on February 05, 2019
Our Rangers Out of School Club celebrate and explore a range of different holidays and themes, this week we are looking and talking about “Safer Internet”. We understand more children are gaining access to the the internet through mobiles, tablets, laptops and games consoles. Safer Internet Day is aimed at ways for them to keep themselves and each other safe; this includes what to do and who to talk to if they are unsure about the internet. By starting a dialogue with the children we can discuss concerns or interests the children may share. Promoting the safe use of technology is better done together; building on the work that Bedale School are doing and working with parents will hopefully give the children a consistent message that the internet can be a wonderful resource, both educational and entertaining if used safely.
