The Blues

The fairy lights have been turned off, decorations taken down and trees taken away so it's only natural that everyone starts to talk about the January Blues.  Rather than wallow in the grey days, and committed to always to looking for the fun in life at Incy Wincy's we are choosing to embrace the blues!  Introducing a different style of music, new shades of colour, talking about feelings and building new vocabulary - we've planned our activities for the coming weeks around this seasonal phenomena.  On the aptly named Blue Monday, falling this year on the 21st January we will be dressed from head to toe in indigo, azure, sapphire & more - we hope the children will too.  Our wonderful team will be documenting the children's learning and all the enjoyment in their room displays this month, aswell as adding books linked to emotions into the Book Borrower Baskets for you to share at home.  So blue it seems is the sign of another fun filled start to the year nursery!
